Sono appena volato all’aeroporto di Shannon e ha individuato un Omni Air International con quella che sembrava la vernice rossa schizzata sul davanti. C’erano anche due impronte di mani rosse molto chiare (il mio telefono non poteva catturarle correttamente). E un bullone taglia e penso un tappetino da yoga a una delle barriere. Guardie e vagoni tutt’intorno.
È una protesta contro gli aerei statunitensi a Shannon? O qualcos’altro?

The very fact somebody got that close to a parked aircraft is genuinely worrying. There will be serious consequences for something like this happening. Anything could have been planted at/near that aircraft.
As for the person who did this – that’s a free ticket to some prison time for a long time if they’re found.
Any time you see a blanket over a wire fence like that, someone has hopped it.

Continued actions like this in shannon may quickly lose this group local support.
The pro Palestine movement has large support in the region.
But if their actions starts to harm economic driver of the region, that will change quickly.
I have met a good few people in and around this group, and to say they are intense is an understatement.
