Somehow I was thinking Hungary could be worse as they even banned pride parades

On each countries right parties are rising. More weapons, less human rights. Remember this on next elections.

More like people finally noticed we’re worse than Poland on this issue.

I don’t know, I’m going to Pride there in June – same as last year – can’t do that in Hungary.. And except the priests spraying holy water after us, I felt safe there.
Crap 🙁 we can’t be first even in doing bad things…

Not the achievement we were hoping for. I guess it’s not surprising with the growing popularity of right wing parties.
And the elections. As if the LGBTQ+ are coming out of the closet or from outside the country specifically during this period to f*ck with us and then disappear for the next few years.

Yeah, this is the most important problem and we should put all of our resources on it. Not illegal immigration, not problems with healthcare care or housing affordability, no. Lgtv

Damn, we got to beat Romania next year. Let’s hope it starts with elections tomorrow.

I just want to mention that in 2018, Romania held a referendum to, although it was framed differently, essentially change the Constitution such that gay marriages, although illegal then and now, would be impossible to legalise in the future, too.
Sane people urged others to boycot the referendum. In order for it to be validated, it needed to reach the 30% presence threshold. It was organised by the church alongside a shady organisation(unsuprisingly connected with Georgescu and Simion). Long story short, they changed the traditional one-day-voting to two days in hopes that they would reach 30%. They didn’t. They only got 18%. The truth is, people intrinsically don’t give a shit about LGBT, one way or the other(sadly).
Nowadays, however, due to relentless russian propaganda, I’m not sure how that would go again in 2025.

Eastern Europe must not bend the knees to western “human rights” organizations. Preserve your values. Western Europe is lovely but we have gone off the rails when it comes to total acceptance of this kind of shit. Thankfully in the West we have finally woke up to the harms of accepting too many radical islamists and MENA immigrants something the East knew from the start, maybe one day the general population can be convinced to be less accepting of some of the LGBT non sense too, especially around gender. But it will take a lot of presenting ugly statistics about this community to do so…

Did Poland improve, or Romania worsen?

Oh look, Poland’s birth rate is plummeting:

But sure, lets worry about the gays.
