Al momento dell’invasione su vasta scala nel gennaio 2022, la popolazione di questa città ucraina era stimata a circa 425.000 persone. Nell’agosto 2023, le autorità ucraine stimano la popolazione di mariupolo a circa 120.000.
Durante un assedio di tre mesi si stima che i russi abbiano ucciso fino a 90.000 persone (principalmente civili) e distrutti o danneggiati circa il 95% degli edifici, principalmente da bombardamenti russi su larga scala.
Numerosi crimini di guerra russi erano presunti, inclusi attacchi illegali ai civili, bloccando gli aiuti umanitari, spostamenti forzati o deportazione, saccheggio e stupro.
Ora gli influencer russi hanno il compito di presentare la Russia come un salvatore.
Immagina che ciò accada alla tua città. Puro male.

Those shiny new buildings are built on top of the mass graves.
They did the same thing to Finland and over 80 years later Russia still controls the lands it stole from Finland.
By using “influencers” they’re trying to make life in the occupied lands normal – trying to settle the dust and solidify their claim on these occupied territories. Unless something drastic is done they will keep these stolen lands in Ukraine indefinitely.
