Il candidato anti -UE Simion ha dichiarato che se fosse diventato presidente della Romania avrebbe fermato tutti gli aiuti militari a Ucraine e che avrebbe messo al potere un certo Călin Georgescu, che ha quasi vinto le elezioni precedenti ma era squalificato in base a prove in merito al coinvolgimento della Russia nel sistema elettorale.
Questa è una grande vittoria per l’integrità dell’Europa orientale e per il continuo sostegno della Romania verso l’ucraine.
