The current government has no competent foreign policy direction and is unwilling to pick a side in a world where the two options it has to pick from deeply hate eachother. One second Nikol has to go to Russia to not offend Putin, then has to find a way to make it up to Macron.
Unless Pashinyan takes great pains to FULLY align us with the west, we won’t receive any support from the EU besides a few passing words of “serious concern”. Look what happened in 2023. The EU is not willing to give up on Azeri oil for an economically worthless country that refuses to fully take one side or the other.
