Well, yeah. Unnecessary wars are quite expensive, especially when they turn protracted.
Sometimes I wonder if Xi encouraged this war as a way to cripple Russia. Not that it’s hard to encourage Putin to be an ass, but long term China benefits from Russia’s collapse. Siberia is right next door.
if you know that roughly 311b € where invested in ru by Europeans between 1991 and 2022 and ever since sanctions demanded roughly 310b++ € to be frozen by EU + UK+Australia+Canada+Japan++ you might come closer to grasp simple math in that.
It doesn’t add up and will reveal reality about ru ‘economy’ real good the longer they drain their equation as sustainable while its not.
