Protect A Volunteer continues its mission of matching donors directly to volunteers serving in Ukraine.  When you sign up to be a donor, we gather you into a Signal chat group with other donors and your assigned volunteer.  The group provides funding, moral support and friendship to the volunteers, making them more effective and prepared.  A volunteer sent the message above to his donors just today thanking them for their help.  This soldier is an American army veteran now offering his skills to fight, train and do EOD operations in an international unit within the Ukrainian military.

Most teams need to self-fund much of their gear, medical supplies, living expenses, gas and more.  This can add up to many thousands of dollars.  Coupled with periodic delays in combat pay, many soldiers get into financial difficulties. 

Donors play a valuable role in helping volunteers continue their mission and relieve some of this financial pressure.  You can sign up to offer monthly donations ($25 per month minimum) or one-time/periodic donations ($100 minimum) of larger amounts.  Any amount helps!
