      It seems everyone is aware Putin is not taking these “talks” seriously except for the people who really need to understand it the most. All he’ll respond to is being hit in the mouth, none of this appeasement is worth a damn

      People who worked and turned on Trump all said Trump values personal relationship above regular foreign policy making. So in Trump view, Putin is a personal friend of his and an ally while Zelensky/Ukraine were responsible for his 1st impeachment.

      Expecting Trump and the US to contribute is a waste of time.

      Europe has to go at this alone. Start the punishing with game ending sanction now. Whoever that trades with Russia will be cut off from Europe’s market. Not whatever small potatoes sanction this is.

      Then triple the weapons aid to Ukraine so they can start retaking its territories that Russia currently occupies.

      This says Ukraine’s allies have hit Russia with new sanctions but it doesn’t say anything about who has done this and what the sanctions are…

      As European I think we should have gone boots on the ground and jets in the sky before Feb 22. Kick all Rushists beyond and their borders and force total trade embargo no matter the price. That’s how you impose the rule of law. By fucking force.
