Incredible. Just listening to this fella on Rte explaining himself to an incredulous host.

It’s always interesting how certain people tend to overlook the cost of holiday homes where the local authority ends up paying to maintain empty villages roads/water and where we all pay for that infrastructure to be maintained in places where no one lives for 11 months of the year. Where we should ban planning for locals, but empty houses killing communities are just fine.

This council official will scare the horses with such rare honesty taken for granted in Wales where they actually report on the damage done. Pity it’ll be forgotten again in a few days time.
