Yeah I just cannot care about Russian “threats” anymore. They are stuck in Ukraine, will be for a while, and anyway Finland’s situation is stronger in NATO than outside it. All these articles just feel like fearmongering and Russian propaganda.
Also, just a weird article. Who the heck refers to Nato as “the Organization currently led by Mark Rutte”? Seriously; wtf is that?
Tell us something new.
The base in question is one which frequently hosts exercises. The tents there are nothing new, they are regularly taken down and put back up again.

There’s a reason this isn’t news in Finnish media, it isn’t really news.
I have full trust in our professional army and the 18-20 yo mosat to keep us safe until the rest mobilize in case of a sudden attack.
Unlikely to be real. If Russia had ability to amass anything militarily, they’d start by conquering Ukraine. And, well, look how well that is going for Russia.
However, looking at Ukraine, Putin is actually insane, and half of Russian population seems to share Putin’s insanity, so us border nations need to be prepared for anything and everything.
Business as usual, in other words.
They moved a lot of troops to Ukraine from the proximity of the border, they’re just going towards the situation that was static before -22.

If someone’s biggest cause of stress is Russia in today’s situation, I’m almost jealous of them.
They don’t have anything more pressing to stress out over in their personal lives.
This has being ongoing for centuries now.
Russia is not going to be in any shape to conduct offensive operations for at least a decade after all the materiel they lost in Ukraine.
