Maybe it’s a scam, maybe not. No hard “it’s a scam” facts here. But he plays with your fear that the article is gone in a very, very short time. If this would be true, I don’t see the point why he should discuss this long time with you.
But it doesn’t have to be a scam. Not very nice salespersons uses this trick too.
My advice: if you don’t feel good with it, don’t risk anything.
I mean, based on how much they’re talking back and forth I’d think it’s legit, scammers usually just hop to the next victim rather than try to actually explain. If you don’t feel good about it, don’t do it. Only word of advice I’d say is maybe ask if you could pay a deposit, like €40 now and then the other 60 when it’s delivered? That way the seller is convinced you’ll buy it, but you also aren’t down 100€ if he’s a scammer
I’d step away. The seller invests a lot of time into all these messages, jet he says the bed is most likely gone in the next few days. It just seems too… desperate? Pushy?
Not worth the risk.
Not sure if it’s a scam, I wouldn’t risk it. Cash payment at pickup is really the only safe way to buy something on Kleinanzeigen
