For anyone that can’t get pass the wall
“The garda based in a north Dublin station has been the subject of a major investigation by the Force’s anti-corruption unit.
Officers from this unit searched the garda’s home and the locker of the station he is based in last week.
He was then suspended from duty but has not yet been arrested.
It is understood that international police agency Interpol have assisted gardaí as part of the investigation which sources have described as “disturbing and unprecedented.”
When contacted by the Irish Independent a garda spokesman said: “As part of an on-going investigation by the Garda Anti-Corruption Unit into alleged serious criminality, a Garda based in Dublin is suspended.”
Sources say that the investigation will be lengthy because a huge amount of analysis of devices lined to the suspect will need to be carried out.
“The dark web is called the dark web for a reason – it is complicated to get into and get evidence from and that is the process now,” a source said.
I guess he took it literally when his colleagues told him that “we get away with murder in this job!”
That was not on my 2025 bingo card.

I read somewhere recently of how some international police unit took control of some dark web hitman for hire thing, think there is even a podcast on it. they arrested a few people looking to have partners or work colleagues killed

Listened to a super interesting podcast about a fake hitman for hire website on the dark web. The people running it would take the $20K and inform local police. It was a win win so apparently it’s still up and running. It’s not illegal to pretend to be a hitman.
Moron should have realized that almost all ” hitman ” offers on the Darkweb are Police sting operations now that aside thank god this guy is incompetent as hell and that ex partner is safe
