Looking at the photo, one can make some certain observations, stating which may result in being called something…

That reminds me of those other news where it was a certain group of people who got the majority of houses. Was it in Kildare?

Surely non citizens should be banned from buying houses in a housing crisis? Or is that quite far right of me?

Are the Houses free? If not, then probably those are the people with the deposit I guess.

The government’s inability affects everyone — Irish and non-Irish alike

Jeez, a lot of people a here are clueless… If this was a photo from America – makes sense. But if you think this is normal situation in Ireland, I guess say goodbye to ever owing a house here. If you can’t see a problem here, you are hopeless.

180,000 people enter Ireland per year
33,000 houses built ( if your lucky)
It’s simple supply & demand that cannot keep up !!

somehow this statement is far right…..
Down vote away there, common sense has left this country years ago !!

This thread is a great example to people like me that say this sub is left leaning. Nope. I stand corrected. Racism and far right shit are rampant here.

Just even having a mortgage of nearly €500k is mind blowing to me, especially as a ftb.

But then imagining having a mortgage of 500k and your living in Clondalkin.

What a disaster and abject failure of a housing policy over the last 15 years.

Turn them into HMOs and put 7 or 8 people in each and then it’s sorted/s

I thought immigration doesn’t affect the housing crisis?
