Basically a Romanian engineer and a 10-person team working for Tesla discovered a safety fault on the cars where the floor mats would roll up, preventing the brakes from working (obviously very dangerous)

The cars would have to be recalled, and the problem fixed. Apparently Musk knew about the problem all along anyway,

Instead of that, Musk told them to keep quiet about it, forced them out of the company and threatened them with deportation

Is this just a Romanian ruling or will it also be enforced by the EU court system? I’m curious as to how much Elon can actually be held accountable.
