If people really want to adopt and support traditional values, why would they be tied to Russians and in particular their churches and communities? Orthodox Christianity spans the globe and by and large is conservative and traditional.
Do they not understand what being a useful idiot means? Just as Catholics have their cardinals and Pope, the Orthodox have their Patriarchs (patriarchy is right in the name) for various regions. As Rome is for Catholics so is Istambul, former Constantinopole, the former capital of the Eastern Roman Empire that adopted and promoted Orthodox Christianity.
Dear traditional people, Russian Orthodox Church and their Patriarch do not care for foreigners, within their autonomy they care about their own first and foremost and this is not a failure of the system, it is by design.

As someone who grew up Orthodox, going to the church is seen as a very feminine (as in grandma) type of activity, but pop off kings, whatever gets you closer to serving Russia on the front. One day you’ll hopefully realize.
