Out of curiosity, how is the beginning of Merz’s government viewed in Germany? His pro-European stance looks very good to me from what I’ve read but truth be told I haven’t investigated in depth.

I’m sure trying to reset relationship with russia for the 3rd time will not end up with them undermining europe once again i suppose. Well, as long as it’s just some backwater EE/Nordics that are suffering, who cares, right ?
It’s past the time we talk about sanctions. It’s time to talk about some more concrete help.
The only way to make sure that Ukraine wins the war is to send troops to ukraine and take control of the airspace. Sanctions won’t end these missile attacks, Europeans are pathetic. Rest of Europe is just watching how hundreds of thousands people die in Ukraine and we’re not doing anything even though we have the power to push russia out of Ukraine.
What about the previous seventeen sanctions?
The US administration cares not for human life, they care for money full stop. They claim to be Christian, yet they support a genocide in Gaza. They have claimed that they want the killing to stop, yet they put pressure on Ukraine even though it is Russia who have refused ceasefire after ceasefire. Russia indiscriminately bombing residential apartments in a crowded city and all Trump can think about is how they can re-open trade with them. Who in their right mind would ever want to do trade with Russia when they do this. America you should be ashamed of yourselves and I hope for your sake that another 9/11 doesn’t happen, because this time round you won’t have as many countries rushing to support you. The so-called strongest military in the world ended up being the one who walked away first!!!!!
I truly believe that NATO on the ground (excluding america for obvious reasons) is the only way Ukraine wins. We dont seem willing in Europe to consider it unfortunately meanwhile Putin is doing actual attacks on European and NATO soil with assassinations and cyber attacks.
