I’m actually quite shocked that Wizzair wasn’t top or even runner up!!!
If you don’t include cancelled flights, which this article doesn’t, then it’s meaningless.
EasyJet and Ryanair both cancel delayed flights but TUI doesn’t. It’s one of the differences between scheduled and chartered.
At the end of the day they were both delayed.
But you’d be devastated if you missed your cruise ship because the airline cancelled a flight just to maintain reliability statistics.
Departing late is a pointless metric. Alot of long haul flights can make up 30-45 mins anyway due to the buffer they add into the flight times. Its arrival delay that matters
