Brilliant. It’s insane what’s happened to/with our local woodlands. You’d imagine with all the traditional Irish paddywhackery Fáilte Ireland have convinced people to buy over the years, we might have focused a tad on developing demand for a resource (ash, oak, pine, hazel, etc) we could produce in abundance, and keep some of our natural habitat.
Eoin (the account linked here) is great, also. Highly recommend checking out his traditional Irish woodworking channel.
Fuck Coillte … Imagine what we could have if someone with the national interest at heart looked after our forests.

Eoghan Daltun is a wonderful writer and environmental activist. Well worth checking out his first book. Lovely fella too.
