Wonder what caused the avalanche, and depending on the reason, if it is one more natural disaster to add to our list of natural disaster phenomenas that will increase in intensity/frequency as a result of climate change.

First observation suggests 90% of the village is gone. What you see there is basically all that remains.

Honestly, besides the obvious terrible material loss of the village, it’s crazy to see how efficient modern monitoring has become. If this had happened decades ago, the inhabitants of that village would’ve just died.
