Cunts.
Can anyone explain?
Not surprised
Can someone ELI5 please?
When were TDs denied the right to table a bill? Did Ruth (in opposition) not table this bill?
Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
They are literally supporting red coats
Shameful.
their mostly correct , it is unprecedented in the modern parliamentary history , first reading is basically introducing the bill , second reading is where most bills get guillotined
sinn fein is really showing how they view animal welfare with this , the next time they ever complain about animal welfare people should reminder them
Shit like this is why nobody trusts them with running the government over the usual shower
Great that it passed to get debated. Fuck SF.
SF is playing footsie with the right wing. Dangling their feet in Anti Trans, anti animal, aligning with non left fringe. Are they taking notes from Keir Starmer?
Gowls
SF would be spitting feathers if this happened to them and rightly so . Hypocrisy of the highest order there tonight from them.
You know you messed up when Ruth Coppinger is happy the government voted with you, and SF against you haha
They just lost a vote for life. No time for any body supporting violence to animals
One of the few occasions I find myself in agreement with SF.
I read that the UK wild fox population decreased by 42% when they introduced the fox hunting Bill due to disease being spread more easily. Seemed counterintuitive and I was surprised. For the record I am against hunting and hate to think of foxes being hunted for sport but would also against passing a bill which would inadvertently reduce the wild fox population.
Me thinking about voting for SF 1st choice

Oh good, another episode in the long running series ‘who the fuck am I supposed to vote for now’
Ban it !!!
How many foxes are hunted per year? My gf and I were admiring a rabbit on the side of the road just outside limerick a few weeks ago when I shit you not a fox jumped out of nowhere and grabbed him and took him into the bushes. They are vicious little fuckers so I’m surprised everyone is against hunting them although I have zero knowledge as to any of the numbers or ecological facts regarding them tbh
It’s really really unusual for a bill to be blocked from getting to even the first stage. It’s sort of a democratic “everybody gets to at least the first hearing” thing.
Splitters!!!
“why don’t people vote for us”
Coppinger doesn’t give a damn about fox hunting. She’s doing this to stir shit. Opposition TDs get only a handful of opportunities to propose legislation. Can she honestly say this is amongst her top priorities as a TD?
Baffles me that there even needs to be a discussion about banning this sadistic shite
Opposition doing opposing, yeah I get it the animal rights are miffed but in reality they knew it was going through. I honestly don’t feel you can read much into it.
Seems an odd hill on which to make a stand… I wonder what riders were on that bill to say they voted against it prior to it being even debated.
Mary Lou is a FF mole. She’s been the ruination of the party.
