Cancer rates are exploding amongst millennials because of microplastics, endocrine disruptors and a whole host of other environmental pollutants. Earlier screening for men and women is going to be vital to catch cancers that would otherwise be missed if checks are delayed until our 40s.
Good. My friend was diagnosed at 32, passed away at 41. She was an amazing human being and very much missed.
I’m in my early 30’s. I have a maternal history of breast cancer, and am unfortunately prone to fibroadenoma (non-cancerous/benign tumours in the breast). I constantly live in fear that I’m not going to catch that something’s wrong until it’s too late.
I am all for lowering the breast cancer checks to 35 if not 30.
