Another category where we lead the pack. Great little country

Does it count vapes? Because we have an obnoxious amount of those floating about

It would be interesting to see the figures for vaping included. Romania is high on the smoking side, but I cant imagine too many people are vaping strawberry ice out that way.

We were doing so well, and then the nasty little plastic flavoured cancer sticks started being sold in every single shop.

What’s happening in Romania that rates are increasing so much?

What’s the price of a 20 pack? Here in Germany it is between €14 and €16

4 years off the fucking things myself. Was tempted to try the vapes to get me over the hill as I was struggling on my 3rd attempt to quit. So glad I didn’t as I’d have been swapping one habit for another. Only regret is not doing it sooner.

I still get days now and then though I’d murder you for one 🙁

Sweden has the lowest smoking rates because everyone uses Snuss (tobacco gum pouches) instead. Cigarettes should be extremely heavily taxed to encourage smokers to move to Vapes and nicotine gum pouches like Nordic spirit. Before someone says “But Vapes are just as bad”. NO, No they are not. That’s something people say on Facebook. it has no bearing in reality. —————–

“In 2022, UK experts reviewed the international evidence and found that “in the short and medium-term, vaping poses a small fraction of the risks of smoking”.

Cigarettes release thousands of different chemicals when they burn – many are poisonous and up to 70 cause cancer. Most of the harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke, including tar and carbon monoxide, are not contained in vape aerosol.

People who switch completely from smoking to vaping have reduced exposure to toxins associated with risks of cancer, lung disease, heart disease and stroke.”
