Tja when europe ignores what many people deem important or go the opposite direction its not strange, add the russian disinformation and youâve got something cooking. Its the same in almost whole of europe

Fun fact: it’s the same amount of people in total.

Itâs more that old land divisions mean less and less than a âright wing trendâ. In 2025 KO candidate had better result than 2015 one. Both in percentage points and total votes.
Also, the right wing candidate had higher lead in percentage points in 2015 than in 2025.

The sickness seem to originate and spread from the southeastern point of the nation. Interesting. What might be the cause?

Its not a right wing trend but a growing proportion of disenfranchised voting for people that actually offer them a prospect of a better future .

I don’t think the title is accurate.
This election was closer than the 2015 one (and the 2020 one). There is no right wing trend, there is just larger polarization in big cities and rural areas.
Theres a literal war on its border AND the Russkies keeps “misfiring” bombs and shit across that border. Considering Putin had ICBMs locked and loaded and has been the sole user of ballistic missiles in world history
Im honestly surprised its not more of a landslide. The trends usually the same. When the going is rough, people vote for tight asses that promise strength and to cull the economy of “weak welfare” because theres a belief it shows resolve and willingness – so it feels safe. And when its all good, theres more of a tendency towards liberty. The UK voted Churchill in, despite him being a political failure at that point AND a known pompous prick. Hungary got Orban in and he never left on similar rationales.
Actually I’d argue the margins on elections in the European bulwark are so tight, is a sign that democratically – we’re doing pretty well still. Theres never going to be another socialist surge like we’ve had before – between the DDR and the recent failings of the left wing in Europe – its fairly clear everybody prefers center mid. Obv not counting for when the panic vote.
By far the more concerning shifts happening is political anything being hugely led on a foundation of “well I saw on social media” – and ofc the surge of holocaust denialism as of late. Especially in Poland.

Iâve noticed itâs a lot nicer and peaceful in Poland compared to more diverse European countries why is this?

This is so weird to me.
Youâd think citizens of Poland, of all places, would be ready to shoot pepper spray or lysol in any direction âright wingâ could be foundâŚ
Downvote if you want, but countermovements are a real thing, soâŚ

Yall still keep thinking in left and right wing, those are things of the past and thats why many of you dont seem to understand whats actually happening in Europe right now, many of these people are just completely fed up with all the bullshit and not right wing or far right extremist at all, the people who have been in power for the past couple of decades just made europe a shit hole, and gets worse the more west you go

Itâs an urbanisation trend. The vote percentages barely moved, but the people did.
