      As expected, because it would take changing German Constitution, European Convention on Human Rights and Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

      And the Government knew it, they promised it only for electoral gain, and later they can blame someone else. Welcome to politics.

      If you can’t turn them away, then simply showing up results in asylum by default… I’m not sure what I’m missing here, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense.

      Anyone who actually knows a bit about migration would know that this was illegal. That much has been apparent ever since Merz pledged to do it.

      Asylum claims need to be processed on the spot, and rejected in all but the most extreme cases.
