The “realist” answer to this is simple: Ukraine is going to win this war. Russian army is going to withdraw from Ukraine territory, eventually. Ukrainian people will never stop defending themselves, or their land, until Russians withdraw. Russia is running out of resources. Ukraine is gaining more resources. So, Ukraine “has the cards”.
All of that has been very obvious for at least a year. Ukraine will win, and Russia will lose. And, Russian agent Krasnov will be exposed.

Biden wasn’t weak and incompetent.- He actively stood up to Putin, wanting to supply Ukraine with much needed arms. Unlike Trump, who is weak in the face of Putin, has withheld arms, has been a mouthpiece for Russia, and disgraced America.
Trump has nothing to claim here. He is not really part of the negotiations and is unaware that neither side is interested in the Trump opinion. Russia keeps bombing, despite anything this administration desires. Ukraine is retaliating and does not see any need to divulge their plans to someone they have reason to NOT trust.
