Il mio amico ha ricevuto una multa di € 300 per aver attraversato una luce rossa a Pafos. Siamo un po ‘confusi in quanto tutte e quattro le ruote sono attraverso la linea e la luce non è in rosso.
Tuttavia, la luce cambia rossa poco dopo e l’immagine della vista posteriore mostra rosso quando l’auto è ancora più lontana dalla linea. Affermando che è stato rosso per 0,7 secondi.
Per favore qualcuno può spiegare la violazione qui? O è semplicemente perché abbiamo attraversato la linea su Amber?

Yes it’s because you crossed the amber line.
That’s a lane for pedestrians to cross the road, that’s why it’s a violation if you cross it.
The duration doesn’t matter. For the camera it means you crossed since the wheels stepped over the 2nd line. The car is clearly stopped on the crosswalk and the back wheels barely touch the line your friend should’ve stopped.
You are not *”just simply”* over the line, but on the pedestrian crossing which is even further from the line that you are supposed to be *BEHIND* of. Not on top of. Not in the general area of the line. Not just the wheels behind the line. The whole car.
Crossing on amber won’t fine you, unless you are speeding. The only way a car stops like that is when someone is actively trying to catch the light green. And then you slam the breaks. And then you get fined 😀

Did all 4 wheels cross the white line when the light was already red? If so, that’s the violation, idk why you’d be confused.
Was the light green when you crossed the lines, stopped, and then the light turned red? If so, the cameras wouldn’t have triggered
Lights turned red before you passed through, the camera doesn’t care it’s not a human.You can try complaining maybe it works at the police station. Otherwise just drive like a grandma around cameras there aren’t many and it’s actually hard to get fined.
