Oh, why so few healthy years? Is the Danish diet so bad? Don’t Danes do sport? On my vacations there, everyone actually seemed healthy and it’s not a poor country and I haven’t heard anything bad about the Danish health system so far. And they are seem always very relaxed with their great Hygge tradition.

And it’s not even a national holiday. But Jesus Scooting Off To The High Heavens Day somehow still is even if most people are very IDGAF about it

“recycling rate of electric waste” just like in the case of plastic is a big lie.

Do you have any idea how many different materials are fused and glued together in electronic devices? How many types of materials that can’t be separated or recycled? Do you know how many types of plastics are melted together in a single product or its packaging, making them impossible to take apart? We can only recycle a very small number of plastic types, and even those can only be used to make poor-quality products. Do you really believe that if you throw something into the recycling bin, it’s all going to be properly recycled, just because you think there must be huge warehouses where busy little elves recycle everything you throw away? Hell no. They send it to East Asia, where they pull out a few easily removable parts, then dump the rest into the forest or a river. The most polluting countries are the richest ones, because even if they’re a bit more environmentally conscious, they buy insane amounts of stuff. It’s all just hypocrisy.
