      >When they eventually let me out of the room, I witnessed the horrific scene of my team members, tied up and blindfolded. I pleaded to the officer to release them, and he promised to do so after the interrogations. They were taken one by one to the same room for strip search and questioning.

This is _beyond_ acceptable on how to treat civilians, let alone foreign journalists. It’s not even an active war zone!

It’s goal is to be intimidating to other journalists so they don’t report what they are seeing on the ground. It’s systemic and intentional by the State of Israel.

So basically the BBC were filming active Israeli military positions, that were hit by a missile from inside Syria earlier in the week. Then they refused to answer questions and follow basic instructions when directly asked by an armed soldier. They were then detained and got searched and interrogated before being released and told not to approach military positions from that direction in the future.

Disgusting, just a taster of what the IOF do to human beings who are counter to Israel and zionism. Anyone who supports this has no moral compass.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a [certain BBC editor](https://thecradle.co/articles-id/28258) probably tipped off the IOF

A motley crew of one BBC jornalist, two Iraqis and four local freelancers filming IDF military position that was atacked just just days before and refusing to answer any questions – why would IDF be suspicious? /s

      Jesus.

I really implore folk to read the whole thing. This is a BBC crew in Syria, near Israeli-seized territory in Syria. Not in Golan and certainly not close to Israel.

The IDF knew they were BBC, and even after finding nothing wrong still  personally threatened the crew, and as we’ve seen over the past 2 years, these are not empty threats.

This isn’t the action of a military, but of thugs and gangsters.  It’s clear that the IDF has bred a culture that views Arabs as “lesser” and that they can do whatever they want, international law or morals be damnned.

Seems like the BBC is clearly part of the US/Israel hitlist, after this and the White House bollocks this week.

Maybe we shouldn’t arm a nation who cheers when a rapist is freed from prison because he’s part of gods master race. They’re genocidal supremacists. We should wall Israel off from the rest of the world and see how they like it.

I know this story isn’t about him, but I’ve sensed increasing frustration amongst a lot of BBC (and from other organisations) journalists about the attitude of Israel towards reporting. Jeremy Bowen in particular has made it very clear that he’d like to actually report from the places where the action is happening in order to properly verify things. The attitude by Israel towards journalists is getting increasingly bad, and it’s very obvious they want to hide the reality of what is happening from the world. All the while foreign media is relying on local journalists and NGO employees, they can just dismiss everything has ‘false’ and ‘propaganda’.

This is justice for bbc news running defence for master race genociders for the past 80 years.

Arm psychopaths and this is the result. Our country is complicit in arming these arse holes so nobody should be surprised.

What are the odds the BBC will continue to apologise for the IDF’s behaviour toward civilians, even after this?
