Oh good, a man committed the crime so we don’t need to hear about the dangers of post natal depression and how the knife was at fault.

I can’t imagine what life as a defence solicitor is like when you’ve got to defend pieces of shit like this guy. The fucking nerve to try and claim this was manslaughter.
The state did a great job of protecting her then. Great message that sends to women from certain communities that want to leave an abusive husband. Or anyone that wants to leave certain religions: The state is unable or unwilling to protect you and indeed may very well side against you as seen in other recent cases.
What do you call a state that is unable to provide basic functions such as providing security?

To be clear, he is still going on trial for murder.
Here on a student visa supposedly studying digital marketing in Bedfordshire, but married to a wife in Bradford. Needs an interpreter to follow proceedings. And they wonder why people have no faith in immigration enforcement.
Let’s see what happens to the guy. I think people will be surprised.
