That’s Killorglin, Co Kerry. Puck Fair I’d imagine. I’ve never seen the original.

There’s coin fairs in the RDS every few months. You get a lot of people selling coins, stamps and random other stuff. The last time I was there one ofcthe sellers had old postcards and photographs from every county in ireland – they were divided by county and town. For the small town i grew up in in county limerick there were 6 pictures from the 1890s
An artist called Scats Esterhuyse has the painting on his Facebook.

Looks like the image used to be on the kilorglin archive but it’s not there anymore, could contact someone there about it
