Lo trovò a chiedermi a terra del capannone del bestiame. Gli ho messo un trailer per impedire al gatto o al cane che si avvicinava a lui. Gli ho dato acqua e uova morbide per le proteine. C’è più che posso fare?

That’s a fledgling, not long out of the nest, probably can’t fly yet. If it’s alert, not obviously or seriously injured, and calls out periodically, it likely just needs time or help back to a bushy area where the parents can find it. If it’s lethargic, cold, or silent, contact a wildlife rescue.
Maybe even send them an email for further clarification anyway, just to be 100%.
Hmm aren’t you supposed to leave fledglings? His parents left him there and will check on him every few hours.
Put him back where you found him and hope his parents take him back.
Looks like a baby Jackdaw, it’s fledgling time of year.
We found one recently and it was very subdued and hardly moving, we checked in on it after another 30 mins and the poor thing had died unfortunately. It’s sad but very common for fledglings to be out of the nest like this and the parents are normally around to keep an eye on them and feed them. But they are very fragile and vulnerable to predators and a lot of them don’t make it.
A lot of folks bring them to vets and the vets will always say that they should be left. Like the other poster said, if you think it’s injured you can try contact an animal rescue.
Ps. I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to leave water like that, birds get their fluids through the food they eat and they can actually drown if given water directly.

Ring a local bird charity depending where you are. You are best to move him if the cats or dogs could get him. He might need to be kept warm too but they cam advise. Depending what county you are in just Google the bird rescue and they’ll advise. Well done you for picking him up
He looks like a jackdaw fledgling so unless he is injured he should be put back. This is a precarious time for them but it’s how they learn.
I don’t know where you are, but Kildare Wildlife Foundation can offer advice on how best to support the bird given the bird’s age etc, while in your care. There’s no phone line to call, but they always respond quickly to emails – [**info@kwr.ie**](mailto:info@kwr.ie)**.** I found a fledgling wood pigeon recently, and they were very helpful.
Sad update: he passed away. Found him under the trailer, in view of the nest which is in the rafters of the cattle shed. Found him at 1, but was no more at 6. I put him in the trailer (still in view of the nest) as the cat and dog go through the main door every night. He wasn’t shouting or making noises when I picked him up. I feel sad now.
