**The people of Serbia are demanding parliamentary elections**, but Vučić is refusing to hold them. Instead, the state is responding with repression and propaganda.

Just **yesterday, 22 students were arrested**, and both the president and the former prime minister called them “Nazis” – even though they are simply ordinary people protesting against him, nothing more.

The ruling party is also **refusing to hold local elections**, even where the law requires them – such as elections for the local community office (MZ) in my town of Novi Sad, where the last ones were held over 4 years ago.

What does it say? My Slavic brain reads it as “I prefer savages than Nazis”
