I would be very cautious about listening to the likes of these *courtiers* of the british state.

I would just add that Britain *cannot* fight a long war right now. The economy and army are in shambles, but Europe is hurling towards a massive war. Serbia is sabre rattling in the Balkans for expansion and the Ukraine war keeps escalating. Western countries, including UK, are pumping out talking points about military conscription. There is a complete disaster looming. Britain would be ruined by drone warfare and its army seriously hurt if any deployment took place. We have no experience with this warfare. Our wars this century have almost all been total disasters, but a continental war is now on the horizon and could have been averted if the peace deal was not wrecked by Boris Johnson. Yes, yes, Slava Ukraine, but are you ready to fight for it? Are you ready to instantly die by drone? Are you ready for other people to die or have their limbs torn off? World War One is looming again and everyone is clamouring for war. We’ve forgotten its lessons. It’s frightening and so utterly stupid.

The US was never a reliable ally.

It only joined WW2 when the Japanese wiped out their fleet.

They let Plastic Paddies donate to the IRA.

And in fairness, we weren’t all that reliable. We refused to go to Vietnam.

As for Russia, it’s bullshit. They blame us for wiping out their bombers because they too embarrassed to admit it was the Ukrainians, and because they don’t want to blame Trump.
