And aren’t we all 22% richer? Wow, the economy is truly booming.

Mutkunational tax going up is not “economic growth”!

Ah but the economy doesn’t trickle down overnight,

Us peasants will definitely reap the main benefits of this growth soon right ?

We need to base public policy on wellbeing (GDH) and not GDP because GDP isn’t a useful metric but also because we can’t eat money

Had more disposable income while on the dole in the last recession.

It grew based on GDP, which is not a good figure to measure Ireland on or even any small country really. The journalist puts a lot of the growth down to pharma companies trying ship stuff off before Trump’s tariffs kick in. They make the point that a whole pike of tax paid comes from a few multinationals and the high level of growth makes us a target from US figures.

Nothing I haven’t read before just updated for the current quarter.

But still we are getting ripped off left right and center.

Isn’t it great how well this stuff trickles down? I didn’t even need to be told this it was so obvious from how i felt 22% better off

Yup, that’s why we’re all driving around in 251 cars.
