That’s not a crisis, that’s both the result and the solution.

No matter how much the press is saying it, neither are German tourists abandoning Croatia, neither are US citizens moving to Europe…

It was a “record” year last year like it will be this year.. IDK where the 0.7% less income comes from, maybe 0,7% from German tourists? Could be. So they are really abandoning us. 1 in 150.

Croatia is happy with that. We like our German, Chech etc tourists but the fact is….our infastructure cant bear any more growth of tourism. Its fine the way it is, we can grow in different areas, and lack of growth and people reviewing and similar will give more competition. Competition will run out a lot of the tourist traps which will lead to better quality.

All of the people who rent or do somenthing related to tourism that I know in Split (one of Croatias hotspots) are all doing good. So whoever gives their guests a nice experience and a reasonable walue for money doesnt have any problems with booking or anything, and are not afraid or lower tourist numbers or anything similar. Assholes will get into trouble sooner or later and that is more than fine. Our economy is not gonna suffer much because of 0.7% less income from tourism.
