if you lived through the 80’s, you’d agree with his statement.
Yeah, I had a pretty good life relatively speaking in Ireland, but I still know loads of people who emigrated in the 1980s and ’90s. I got lucky with the timing of when I went to school and when I came out. Hundreds of thousands didn’t.
