To save a click, they’ve missed payments to Openreach in the past and it’s become a recurring issue, which BT Group aren’t happy about. They’ve also missed payments to Sky over distributing Now TV packages to TalkTalk customers and they’ve actually phased out allowing new customers to sign up to Now TV via TalkTalk earlier this year, likely as a result.

They’ve well and truly fucked. They’re under a huge debt mountain, are shedding subscribers faster than a dog sheds its winter coat and they’ve already had a shareholder bailout. I can see it ending with administration proceedings resulting in the existing subscriber base being sold to another broadband provider.

Though of course when your service goes down more often than not with faults not even being reported properly to Openreach to be fixed and your customer service is virtually non-existent, is it really a surprise that your business is going down the toilet?

Remember when TalkTalk had a data breach and repeatedly denied it. Pepperidge Farms remembers:

Absolutely shit company, that at the time was run by that thoroughly despicable Dido Harding. Remember her? Pepperidge Farm remembers that Matt Wankcock put her in charge of Test and Trace that wasted billions upon billions that didn’t prevent one infection.

Failure upon failure upon failure with no repercussions, and loads of rewards.
