Sounds like the council behaved badly by fighting it, maybe because they know it will happen again.

After the whole Grenfell horribleness, you’d think the councils of the country would be a little more on job no?
I mean good? Like we have millions if not billions in compensation waiting for the inevitable of some school collapsing and killing and maiming children.
The people who are in charge of not fixing this shit absolutely should be held criminally and financially accountable and the victims adequately compensated. Otherwise how the hell are we going to get better as a society. If you want absolutely negligent cowboys in charge who have zero accountability then by all means let’s just have Grenfels every few months.
