È una vecchia medaglia? L’ho trovato nella mia casa in Inghilterra. Non so da dove sarebbe potuto venire!

It‘s a medal for a GDR (East Germany) Champion of some sport of 1979.
Deutscher Verband für Versehrtensport (for handicapped people), Medal for the champion(s). Don‘t know more about that, just did a quick google search.
Yes it a medal from the german federation if I would bet I would bet on radsport (cycling)
A banana for scale would be nice, from this it looks the size of a penny. It’s obviously a sports medal for the East German Champion from 1979. But not sure what sport.

It a medal from the **Deutscher Verband für Versehrtensport** in the DDR.

Basically the front „Deutscher Verband für Versehrtensport“ means German Association of Disabled Sports. The back means Champions of the DDR 1979. Unfortunately neither the coin nor the Ebay listing mentions what exact sport.
