By Theo Burman – Live News Reporter:

One of Italy’s most ambitious transportation projects is set to begin testing after passing its feasibility study.

The Hyper Transfer hyperloop project, on which research first began in 2013, will commence construction work on a test track in Veneto, spanning 10 kilometers (about six miles) between Padua and Venice.

Italy has actual high quality high speed trains already. They don’t need this hyperloop slop.

      >The Hyper Transfer hyperloop project, on which research first began in 2013, will commence construction work on a test track in Veneto, spanning 10 kilometers (about six miles) between Padua and Venice. The hyperloop project is designed to transport passengers and cargo at record speeds of up to 1,200 kilometers per hour, thanks to the use of magnetic levitation through vacuums.

Literally nobody in twelve years has done any calculations. In 5KM you accelerate from 0 to 1200 Km/h, then slam and decelerate back to 0 Km/h. That’s on average 1G. AVERAGE.

Hyperloop is the 21st century monorail. It’s a dumb idea that has been debunked countless times. It’s just another gadgetbahn.

Quit your bullshit and build a train.

Whilst over here in the UK we poured so much money into a train that gets us from London to Birmingham 20 minutes faster yet even that has no signs of ever being completed….

Someone stop this project please… It’s very expensive and the actual project include a train able to transport… 38 passengers….

We don’t need this train, we simply need more railways for high speed trains. At the moment high speed trains struggle to arrive in time because all of them have to pass through the same few railways.

I like the idea, but it’s really not worth it. I mean, even if the train can reach 1200 km/h, it will never travel at that speed. In fact, Zaia said that this train will take 15 minutes to travel from Venice to Padua, but the current high speed trains take around 25 minutes so it’s not a big amount of time. The train will have to make stops anyway.

Are we really pushing this nonsense again? Put the vacuum tunnel dildos away and forget about the 2020 equivalent to a monorail
