Ciao a tutti, qualcuno può spiegarmi come funzionano le bollette energetiche in Germania? Recentemente mi sono iscritto a Mainova e vedo questa enorme somma come il prossimo pagamento. Vivo in un appartamento di 75 mq. M. appartamento con un’altra persona. Che cosa sto facendo di sbagliato?

It’s not directly a bill about the electricity you already used, but an [Abschlag](https://www.verivox.de/strom/ratgeber/definition-abschlagszahlung-strom-1118988/), in this case meaning that you regularly pay a certain amount upfront and with the next “real” bill will either get money back if you used less electricity or pay something on top if you used more.

Two people in a 75 m² apartment should put you roughly at ~900 € a year, so the estimate seems to be plausible.
I’d assume you can change the amount of the Abschlag by clicking on “Ändern”.
What does it say under alle Fälligkeiten anzeigen? If the next date is in 2025 the web Developer was to lazy to correct the mtl/ monthly to yearly. 855 Euro sounds on the lower side for a year. Else, I’d call them and ask.
