Does this skeleton on their helmet have some meaning?
The “Leningrad front” is a gross misnomer as it never was our intention to enter the city. “The Karelian Peninsula front” would be accurate.

I believe this is Finnish detachment 4, they painted skulls on their helmets to instill a sense of fear into the enemy
