Questo mese segna 2 anni dalla distruzione della diga di Nova Kakhovka, che ha scatenato inondazioni mortali a Kherson. L’acqua è salita di oltre 5 metri, immergendo città, distruggendo i terreni agricoli e sfollando migliaia. Eravamo lì, evacuando e aiutando le persone. Con il tuo supporto, abbiamo reso possibile.

This was the event that triggered me to support HelpPeople. Honestly, at the time I had no idea how best to contribute to aid in Ukraine, but I had made up my mind to pull my support from large charities like UNICEF and instead donate to something more specific and more directly helping civilians in Ukraine.

I continue to donate to HelpPeople to this day, but it’s heartbreaking to realise it has already been another 2 years.
