      I don’t want to see any of the protesters leave the cities they live in, under any circumstances, ever. If you’re going to demand tourists leave/stop coming, then you shouldn’t be a tourist.

      Spain literally designed itself around mass tourism. What it needs to do is pursue high-value tourism (like Dubai).

      Less affected by economics and just as substantial.

      In 2023, the UAE had just 20% of the tourists Spain did(17m vs 85m) but made 55% of what Spain did (92bn vs 55bn).

      This aint an answer but a distraction to hopefully make protests go quiet, just removing the stupid sits? Yeah that will stop tourists ruining lifes of locals 👍

      That’s like Disney World saying they don’t want people to come for the rides. What would they propose to generate income? They’ll be living on Spanish food stamps if they ban tourists
