I ordered this keyboard which is supposed to be a Belgian layout but most of the symbol keys have the symbols in switched places, like the comma and the question mark. Does anyone else have this layout or did they put a wrong keyboard in the box?

Zwart geel rood, looks Belgian to me.

If I couldn’t type blind, or would still use azerty, this would really annoy me.

I saw on Windows you have 2 options: BE punt and BE komma. I’m assuming you accidentally bought the one you’re not used to

This is the belgian layout, the comma is the base one, while the question mark is with shift. Why did they put ut like that? That’s beyond me. One place I always look is with the 8, where there is the exclamation point packed with it

Weirdly wrong. I myself don’t bother with the physical key layout anymore, except for the size of the return key. I prefert the european big ass return key instead of the smallish us return key. I use [https://altgr-weur.eu/](https://altgr-weur.eu/) anyway. Great for programming, and I have access to all my accents. On Linux I even have access to the Greek characters.

Ordered a “Belgian Azerty” keyboard, got a French one so I returned it. We’re an extremely small market so international shops hardly know the difference.

Pour some waffle batter in it and see!

I didn’t even know a Belgian layout existed

I have the exact same keyboard or a similar one from the same brand, assuming this is Corsair.
I haven’t had issues with these keys specifically, from what I know they swapped the symbols but they function like usual. Shift + ? to get the question mark, etc. You get used to it pretty quickly.

I think I have the same keyboard (Corsair K60, right?), and it is indeed a Belgian layout. Every keyboard has its slight variations (look at different laptop brand layouts. And yes, the lower symbols for the special characters are meant to be used with the shift key, the upper ones without. Quite confusing in the beginning, but you’ll get used to it!

Every symbol seems to be at the right button, but the order on them is just randomized.

Switched to qwerty a while back. No regrets.
