It’s almost like warming and cooling trends have been going on for millions of years with glacial advance and retreat a normal cycle.

The only reason northern Europe is habitable is due to the currents. The currents are fueled by the pumping action of sea ice forming and the heavy extra salty water dropping to the seafloor, and by temperature differences. As the poles heat up, less ice to do the pumping…
The UK is at the same latitude as Labrador and Kamchatka. Labrador is slightly smaller than England and yet has a whopping 26k population…

I’ll be long dead when this happens. I know it’s not nice to say, but this is a problem for the future. I’ll enjoy the average 15 to 25 degrees year round in Europe at the moment.
Even if this happens, there will be enough time to adjust to it.

This is just nonsense, it would mean a standstill at best
Western Europe would still be at the eastbound of a big (albeit colder) ocean, like Vancouver or south western chile
The jet stream winds would still provide a few degrees relief
Granted, not the same as with the Golf Stream current, but then again, Climate Change is disproportionately warming winter temps in Europe
And the ice melting ( slowing the Golf.Stream ) is.proportional to the rate of climate change
