As opposed to what? I mean, they were only held up a few hours.
There is no such thing as “briefly held in solitary confinement.” That’s is like saying “starved for several hours.”

Israel is punishing this woman for not wanting to give up her right to return.
Shame on everybody who is trying to deny her that right and justifies her unlawful treatment by a criminal Israeli state. She is a European parliamentarian, and though that might not mean much these days, her illegal kidnapping in international waters and transfer into israel constitutes a breach of international law and an affront to what little remains of our sense of European democracy and dignity.
Never again means never again, people ought to remember what that truly means.
