This video gives me anxiety when I watch it. I know visually it isn’t the best but it is real video from a mission. There was more in the beginning that we had to cut where you can hear the urgency in their voices. They are trying to quickly unload the new soldiers and gear before being spotted by drones. As they begin to drive, a drone tries to drop a grenade onto the vehicle and misses by maybe 40 meters. At the end of the video, a tank attempts to hit them again, missing them by maybe 20 meters.
Insertion and extraction can be the most dangerous times for soldiers. Imagine if they didn’t have reliable vehicles and broke down, exposed to drones. This is why vehicle maintenance is critical for teams. Unfortunately, vehicles take a beating on the front and are constantly in need of repairs.

Russians know the times of rotation and that’s when they strike the most with drones. It was part of why they started having to withdraw in Kursk.
It might be possible to dronify a vehicle like this and drive it back and forth at odd times to make actual extractions unpredictable.
The good thing about fibre drones is they are really slow, so hypothetically, decoy vehicles could be used to draw them out and a system set up to shoot them down. We need that system to be hard to see. A small shotgun and aiming system and some optical detection methods. You could hide microphones along the route also so you can roughly identify location.
So crazy that Americans are actively fighting alongside Ukrainians and meanwhile our administration is working for Russia.
