Domanda: questo articolo mi ha fatto meravigliare. È possibile per il governo federale bloccare una tale espansione se lo considerano contro l’interesse nazionale? Non so quali siano le procedure per tale espansione, sia che solo il cantone debba dire ok o anche il governo federale.

According to the article itself, it’s a private Swiss communications company that wants to install the base stations. Probably cause they use starlink somehow in their services… This article just sounds like it wanted to produce as much outrage as possible. So I don’t get how this is against national interest
I’m sure that the government could block it for national security reasons, but for people in the mountains where 5g coverage is spotty, Starlink is very useful. OneWeb (Eutelsat) is definitely better for security, but they’re not targeting households, mostly professional customers.
