Karpenko said he has evidence from his contacts that many of these include civilians, some from graves, from the occupied territories. These are being “sold” as fallen Ukrainians in order to artificially inflate Ukraine’s casualty figures. The Russians hope to undermine Ukrainian morale by doing so.
The one thing that russians are known for is lying. Has anyone actually verified that these are actual Ukrainians? I trust that some are, but I don’t trust russians…..
